The IPS Denver-Kingston service center provides high-voltage testing as part of its comprehensive maintenance portfolio. These tests include:
- Impulse testing up to 750 kV for acceptance testing and QA
- Hi-pot up to 400 kV (applied potential testing)
- Induced test up to 230 kV
- Induced potential ANSI 57.12.90
- Load loss up to 30 MVA base/60 MVA max

Transformer rewinds and repair
IPS offers full rewind capabilities, with premium copper-only rewinds, on any OEM transformer up to 30 MVA base load/60 MVA auto 230 kV. IPS engineers and technicians work with various transformer types:

Field services for transformer maintenance and repair
IPS field service technicians offer low-voltage testing for insulation resistance, transformer-turns-ratio (TTR), and power factor. We provide on-site oil processing services for degassing, moisture and/or particulate removal, re-inhibiting, and retro-fills.
We also handle transformer upgrades and replacement parts, including bushings, fans, gaskets, gauges, pumps, radiators, and valves.

Adding PowerServe to the IPS network expanded our on-site power management and distribution resources. PowerServe provides essential services like arc flash and infrared systems studies, breaker remanufacturing, and electrical asset recovery.
